EMOTIONAL HEALTH COACHING, WHAT IS IT?

A personalised coaching plan so you can learn a better way to live with your emotions.

Based on your needs and goals, we will explore what your thought patterns,  behaviours and coping mechanisms are when you are confronted to an emotional dificulty. I will then give you practical tools to identify, accept and fully experience your emotions in a healthy way, so you are not overwhelmed by them and they don’t stop you from living a fullfilled life.

The methods I use to help you are the following: sophrology, breath work, yoga, cognitife and behavioural approach,  emotional regulation, mindfulness, non violent communication etc.

WHICH BENEFITS ?

Through coaching sessions, the following emotional difficulties can be targeted

– Phobias / avoidance / fears :
of public speaking, lifts, planes, animals, emptiness, etc.

– Aggression / outbursts of anger :
towards friends, colleagues, strangers, life partner, children, etc.

– Inhibition / inability to express yourself:
when you are wrongly accused, when you witness an injustice, if someone is aggressive with you, in any situation that does not suit you

– Sadness / discouragement / frustration

 

Through dialogue and exercises, a follow-up coaching in emotional health can allow you to

– improve your daily life
(stress, burnout, grief, sleep disorders, etc.)

– prepare yourself mentally
(exams, driving licence, speech, childbirth, sports competition, etc.)

– to accompany a medical treatment
(chronic pain, fibromyalgia, cancer, depression, etc.)

– to manage behavioural disorders
(phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder, addictions, etc.)

FOR WHOM?

Emotional health coaching sessions are highly adaptable and can therefore be suited to any individual, regardless of their age or physical fitness. No prerequisites.

A SESSION IN A NUTSHELL

The first session (1h30):

• Discussion to collect informations on your bio- psycho- socio- spiritual state, clarify what your goals are, and explore what your ressources are, in order to fully personalise your protocol.

• First exercises (sophrology dynamic relaxation with breathwork/ sophrology guided meditation / non violent comunication, cognitive and behavioural approach, mindfulness etc).

Follow up session (1h)

• Discussion and feedback about your practice at home

• Introduction of new exercises (sophrology dynamic relaxation with breathwork/ sophrology guided meditation / non violent comunication, cognitive and behavioural approach, mindfulness etc).

• Time dedicated to expressing the new thoughts and feelings that emmerged during the exercises

• Discussion to decide what your homework exercises should be, based on what I recommend and what you thought was the most enjoyable / useful during the session.

USEFUL INFOS

The more you’ll practice your homework exercises, the more you will benefit from the coaching process.

Coaching in emotional health does not include physical contact such as massages.

A personalised coaching protocol includes between 8 and 12 sessions and will be tailored to the specific needs, goals and ressources of an individual.

It is highly recomended to wear comfy clothes for a session, in case we do some breath work.

Mental health coaching should not, under any circumstance, replace proper medical care.
